Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking a CNC 5-Axis Mill Operator to join their team. As a CNC 5-Axis Mill Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** CNC 5-Axis Mill Operator

**Location:** Mebane, NC

Pay Range: $25-$35+ an hour

Shift: 2nd and 3rd (Monday-Friday 8 hours) Voluntary Overtime

What's the Job?

+ Setting up, operating, and maintaining 5-axis CNC milling equipment to meet key performance indicators.

+ Performing in-process inspections to ensure products comply with production guidelines and safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures.

+ Making major adjustments to CNC programs and setups as required, collaborating with Engineering to develop optimal machining programming techniques and tooling selection.

+ Documenting and reporting all adjustments and corrections made during the operation.

+ Operating multiple production machines while utilizing manufacturing reporting systems.

What's Needed?

+ Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and process plans.

+ Proficiency in G & M code and the ability to prove out first-run programs daily.

+ Proficiency with Set Up, Changeovers, Teardowns.

+ Must have CNC editing and troubleshooting experience.

+ Demonstrated good eye-hand coordination and agility.

+ 3- 5 years Experience in operating CNC milling equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
