    **The HR Generalist** will support the Human Resources Manager at our HUB Financial Services (HFS) call center operation based in the Las Colinas area of Irving, TX.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Source candidates for new hire classes of customer service, data entry, account management, sales, and other positions of varying experience levels in Insurance and Retirement & Private Wealth (RPW).

    + Screen resumes and perform telephone screen interviews providing to managers for review.

    + Track candidates through our talent managements system (Workday and Phenom) to ensure compliance, adherence to corporate protocols, and the proper measurement of recruiting metrics.

    + Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers and other interviewers.

    + Generate offer letters and manage the new hire onboarding process in a manner that is engaging to new hires.

    + Ensure accurate and compliant records and retention.

    + Deliver a new hire onboarding and benefits presentation to each new class of employees.

    + Develop professional relationships with industry and civic groups, educational institutions, and government agencies for candidate sourcing and outreach opportunities.

    + Work with the HR Manager and local management team to plan and execute in-office and off-site job fairs.

    + Successfully manage multiple competing priorities and simultaneous requisitions with aggressive timelines.

    + File electronic copies of employee onboarding documentation and correspondence in the appropriate file management system (i.e., Workday).

    + Manage the entry, approval, and completion of tasks within Workday such as position creation, employee termination, job changes, pay changes, and other related transactions.

    + Coordinate with employees and shared services such as Payroll, Benefits, and Leave Administration to answer questions and help resolve issues.

    + Track employee referral bonuses and length of service bonuses for submission to payroll or our reward recognition platform (Snappy) for timely payment.

    + Create promotion and new hire bags as needed.

    + Collaborate with Hub HR team and HFS managers to drive employee initiatives in engagement, recruiting, and employee relations.

    + Foster a culture of teamwork and respect through effective coaching and implementation of Company standards and guidelines.

    + Influence outcomes through established relationships with employees, leaders, and coworkers.

    + Support the HR Managers’s efforts to work with managers and employees to address and resolve human resources matters through day-to-day guidance on performance management (coaching, counseling, development, effective documentation, and disciplinary actions).

    + Active participation in the employee social/engagement committee.

    + Processing ad hoc reporting via Workday as needed.

    + Assist with the integration and onboarding of acquired companies as needed.

    + Attends industry related continuing education training and courses.

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    + 2-4 years of recruiting or Human Resources Coordinator experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Some exposure to HR regulations, principles, and best practices.

    + Skills testing may be required.

    + Insurance industry experience preferred.

    + Exceptional organizational skills, follow up skills, and attention to detail.

    + Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media recruiting sites.

    + Above-average telephone techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with prospective and existing candidates, as well as other staff members.

    + The ability to develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients at multiple levels of the organization and providing direct support to those clients.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    + A willingness to attend educational classes is desired.

    LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    + Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society of Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation desirable

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Schedule:

    Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm CT with an hour lunch.

    Working Conditions:

    + Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, and temperature.

    + Extended viewing of multiple screens for seven or more hours a day.
