Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.

• Manage bank reconciliations and ensure timely updates to cash accounts.

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to analyze and report financial data.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Work with systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage financial data effectively.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and company policies. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of balance sheet and bank reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in working with general ledger systems and journal entries.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Experience with month-end close processes and related activities.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
