Description

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a Junior Project Manager for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC! This position is an ongoing hybrid contract opportunity.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the successful execution of projects from initiation through completion. In this role, you will assist senior project managers and cross-functional teams in planning, organizing, and monitoring project activities to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope and budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for project management to grow within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support the development of project plans, timelines, and resource schedules

+ Track project progress and assist in the preparation of regular status reports and documentation

+ Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders

+ Assist in identifying project risks and issues, and help develop mitigation plans

+ Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items

+ Maintain project documentation and ensure it is accurate and up to date

+ Help manage project budgets and track expenditures as needed

+ Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field

+ 1–2 years of experience in a project coordination or support role preferred

+ Strong organizational and time-management skills

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira, Smartsheet)

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

+ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
