Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cumming, Georgia. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Enter accounts payable data with accuracy and efficiency to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

• Provide support to the project accounting team by assisting with various tasks.

• Process a high volume of invoices daily while maintaining attention to detail.

• Perform invoice coding to appropriate accounts and verify accuracy of information.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Conduct regular check runs and ensure payments are processed on schedule.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and record financial transactions effectively.

• Generate financial reports and maintain organized records for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounts payable workflows and systems. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Proficiency in processing invoices, including coding and data entry.

• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

• Ability to handle check runs and payment processing with accuracy.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing high volumes of invoices daily.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
