This position specializes in material handling equipment. In this role, you will provide expert technical support, train users, resolve software issues, and implement system enhancements to optimize our material handling operations. In addition you will work with systems such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment like tote-handling systems, sorters, and conveyors
Responsibilities:
+ Provides Client Support: including training, consulting, assistance in system understanding and use as well as participating in the planning and delivery of new systems and/or system enhancements.
+ Provides technical expertise to track and resolve software system problems, and application issues; works with vendors as necessary to provide resolution relative to application conflicts and/ or configuration questions.
+ Trains end users on system use and new features. Develops and administers professional, detailed training programs for delivery to end users.
+ Researches and maintains awareness of system improvements and technological developments; evaluates and recommends system enhancements/upgrades as appropriate to improve effectiveness of systems.
+ Develops solutions (including procedural changes) to ongoing systems issues including systems capacity, flexibility, administration, and best practices. Contacts vendors and works with management to coordinate and support installation of new software and enhancements.
+ Provides leadership to project teams and coordinates efforts of team members in support of system related program planning, development and implementation activities.
+ Works with end users to determine reporting needs, develops and produces reports and distributes in accordance with the needs of the department.
+ Implements and manages security procedures for business applications; researches reported security issues and discrepancies. Is responsible for ensuring data integrity.
+ Provides input for the planning, development and implementation of business systems strategy, both short- and long-term.
May manage and provide day to day direction to assigned direct reports; to include:
+ Make/Review employment decisions
+ Establish performance objectives, assign work, monitor workload and appraise performance
+ Coach and develop employees in job related skills through work assignment, direct training and regular feedback
+ Administer wages and salaries.
+ Resolve personnel problems by following company policies and procedures
+ Provide guidance and support to employees in identifying personal development and career goals
+ Communicate and monitor adherence to company policies, programs and procedures
+ Review, maintain and update job descriptions, organization structure and staffing levels

+ BA/BS required
+ 2+ years of relevant experience required
+ High level proficiency in the technical platforms specific to assigned applications.
+ Desktop tools: MS Office, JIRA, SQL Server, and Oracle.
+ Team skills: negotiation, facilitation, communication, presentation & group dynamics.
+ Exceptional customer relationship skills.
+ Proactive problem solver.
+ Excellent organizational skills; ability to set priorities and juggle multiple projects.
