Under the guidance of the Director, the Associate Director/ Manager, US Medical Affairs Oncology will support strategic planning and optimal execution of planned activities.
+ This includes collaboration with the brand and commercial teams, HEOR (Health Economics Outcomes Research), FMA (Field Medical Affairs), MI&E (Medical Information and Education) and global functions as necessary to execute on strategic tactics that support launch and post-approval activities.
+ The role will involve advisory activities to obtain feedback; identification and management of key external stakeholders; scientific engagement planning and coordination; interpretation of clinical data as it relates to competitive landscape; ensuring consistency of clinical content and scientific statements across materials; training and education of cross-functional internal colleagues.
Ad Boards
+ + Support team in the coordination, planning, and execution of ad boards; Completion of breast ad boards per plan responsible for key insights and recommendations
+ Support PM with monthly prep/deposit of relevant insights from Ad Board on the Monthly Reports in the designated Sharepoint site as required
+ Coordinate planning and execution of Ad Boards; insight sharing at MPT and Monthly Reports as required
Skills:
+ 3-4 or More Years relevant pharmaceutical industry, agency (med communications agency), and /or clinical for PharmD, or PhD preferred
+ Minimum 2 years experience with oncology (solid tumors) is highly preferred
Proven track record of working successfully with cross-functional teams to achieve goals preferred
+ Experience with medical strategies and scientific research/communication plans preferred
+ Expertise in interpretation of scientific data, publication strategies and GPP guidelines preferred
+ Understanding of the breast cancer landscape preferred
+ Ability to prioritize and maximize cross functional opportunities preferred
+ Candidate must communicate well and collaborate with other stakeholders & functional areas
+ Candidate must be adaptable, flexible, and able to pivot
+ Cross functional corporate experience preferred
+ Ability to triage and handle multiple priorities in an effective manner preferred
Education:
+ PharmD in the Health Sciences required or
+ PhD in the Health Sciences required (highly preferred)
+ Training or experience in a relevant therapeutic area, including understanding of the breast cancer is preferred
