Job Title: Program Control Analyst/Cost Accounting Manager
Job Description
The Program Control Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. The role requires expertise in Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts, applicable to multiple contracts within an engineering Integrated Product Team.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize financial systems and develop a basic understanding of financial principles for hands-on cost performance reporting and analysis.
+ Develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity.
+ Analyze variances and trends, developing new methods and process techniques.
+ Work independently under general supervision, completing assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues for management focus.
+ Guide and influence peers and internal customers.
+ Represent the group on special projects outside of own group with strong interpersonal skills.
+ Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration.
+ Prepare budgets, schedules, and estimates to complete; perform or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting.
+ Assist in the preparation and submittal of monthly CDRLs such as Integrated Program Management Reports.
+ Support variance analysis reports and facilitate the program monthly rhythm process.
+ Incorporate baseline changes into the Earned Value Management system using Deltek Cobra, SAP/S4, wInsight, Tableau/PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel/Project/PowerPoint.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting with 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields, OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Experience with Earned Value Management Systems and financial forecasting.
+ Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management.
+ Experience with business systems like SAP and Cobra.
+ Ability to work onsite daily in Clearfield, UT.
+ Active Secret Clearance and ability to transfer and maintain final adjudicated government Secret Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with the annual operating plan and long-range strategic plan processes.
+ Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.
+ Ability to identify issues across multiple contracts and make recommendations for resolution.
Work Environment
The role is based onsite in Clearfield, UT, with a 9x80 shift schedule, allowing every other Friday off work. The work involves engagement with the Apex program, which entails working with Fighter Jets and other military aircraft. Employees will be part of a pioneering team that has contributed to significant technological advancements in history.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $47.50/hr.
