Job Title: TIG/MIG Welder : Minneapolis, MN : $24 to $33 per hour.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG welder for our first shift in Plant 1. The position primarily involves custom TIG welding on fabricated steel structures, with a need for proficiency in both MIG and TIG disciplines. Candidates will work from complex blueprints to fabricate and weld steel and aluminum structures. The role requires expertise in Pedal TIG welding, with approximately 80% of the work being TIG and 20% MIG.
Responsibilities
+ Perform custom TIG welding on fabricated steel and aluminum structures.
+ Execute MIG welding as required.
+ Read and interpret complex blueprints to fabricate and weld structures.
+ Engage in fit-up welding and Pulse MIG welding.
+ Work with materials including stainless steel, carbon steel, and sheet metal.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
+ 1+ year of TIG welding experience.
+ 2+ years of experience working from blueprints.
+ 1+ year of fabricating experience.
+ 1+ year of welding experience on aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Experience with sheet metal fabrication.

Work Environment
The work environment involves manufacturing products such as Thermo King, Delkor, and Beckman-Coulter. The position is on the second shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. Our company specializes in custom welding, ranging from small computer cabinets to large oil industry frames, utilizing MIG, Pulse MIG, and Pedal TIG welding. Metal thickness ranges from 3/32 to 1/2 inch, using aluminum, low carbon steel, and various stainless steels.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
