Job Title: Production Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Mechanic with over four years of experience in industrial maintenance, including breakdowns, repairs, and production line changeovers. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs and robotics, and will possess strong troubleshooting skills in motor control centers and mechanical packaging equipment, including presses, filling lines, conveying systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The role involves programming VFDs up to 480V, installing photo-eyes, ultrasonic sensors, and safety light curtains, and teaching others how to install these components. Experience with continuous inkjet date coders, HMIs, and electrical schematics is essential. The ability to wire circuits that include safety e-stops, relays, control heaters, encoders, and other electronic components is required. The position also involves identifying, troubleshooting, and locating I/Os on PLCs.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct industrial maintenance, including breakdowns and repairs, and production line changeovers.
+ Troubleshoot motor control centers and mechanical packaging equipment, including presses, filling lines, conveying systems, pneumatic, and hydraulics.
+ Program VFDs up to 480V.
+ Install photo-eyes, ultrasonic sensors, and safety light curtains and teach installation techniques.
+ Set up and change parameters for continuous inkjet date coders.
+ Utilize HMIs, including understanding their functions and abilities.
+ Read and interpret electrical and wiring schematics and possess general electrical knowledge.
+ Wire circuits including safety e-stops, continuous, momentary and timing relays, control heaters, encoders, and other electronic components.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and locate I/Os on PLCs, including Automation Direct and Siemens.
Essential Skills
+ Industrial maintenance experience (4+ years)
+ PLC troubleshooting
+ Electrical wiring and schematic reading
+ Preventative and corrective maintenance
+ Mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting
+ Programming VFDs
+ Knowledge of safety protocols and equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Forklift certification
+ Experience with Robotics
+ Ability to use personal tools including metrics and adjustable wrenches, multi-meter, various drivers, and flashlight

Work Environment
This role is set in a manufacturing environment where chemicals are processed into packaging. The workplace is dusty and loud, with moving vehicles and operational machinery present. While the facility is heated in the winter, it is not air-conditioned. Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes, and may need safety glasses, gloves, and masks/respirators as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69763.20 - $69763.20/yr.
