What You’ll Do
+ Design & Innovate: Create electrical power distribution networks, including single-line diagrams, panelboard schedules, and cable/conduit layouts using SPEL and S3D.
+ Solve Complex Challenges: Perform calculations for equipment sizing, illumination levels, and hazardous area classifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
+ Collaborate & Lead: Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality electrical packages, from proposals to project execution.
+ Drive Efficiency: Develop and document standardized design processes to enhance manufacturability and reduce costs without compromising quality.
+ Support & Resolve: Provide technical expertise to address inquiries, resolve issues during project execution, and ensure success through the warranty period.
What You Bring
+ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
+ Experience: 5+ years in industrial facility power distribution design (up to 600VAC and 220VDC), with 7+ years preferred, focused on electrical systems design.
+ Technical Expertise:
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, etc.).
+ Experience with SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) and SmartPlant 3D (S3D) is a strong plus.
+ Familiarity with SmartSketch or computer programming languages (e.g., for automation or database management) is a bonus.
+ Skills:
+ Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data, perform calculations, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Excellent communication to present ideas, write reports, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and teams.
+ Ability to manage projects independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
