Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Analyze blueprints, plans, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to assist with the preparation of estimates.
Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
Maintain a database of cost-related information such as subcontractor quotes, material costs, and labor rates.
Prepare and present cost reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new materials in the market that could affect costs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
2 - 5 years of experience
Must have at least 1 of the following: Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCE/A), Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Professional Certificate in Construction Estimating (PCSE), Procore Estimator Certification *** (PEC), Construction Cost Estimating and Cost Control (CCECC)
Can come from a GC or someone that comes from a construction estimating firm

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr.
