Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for L1 commissioning at various customer sites along the East Coast. This role includes performing remote I/O checks, setting up IP addresses for VFDs, verifying device communications to PLCs, and making basic edits to PLCs.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct L1 commissioning in the field at different customer sites throughout the East Coast.
+ Perform remote I/O checks to ensure system integrity.
+ Set up IP addresses for VFDs to enable smooth communication.
+ Verify device communications to PLCs to ensure proper integration.
+ Perform basic edits to PLCs for system optimization.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience with commissioning in the field.
+ Experience with Rockwell automation systems.
+ Proficiency in PLC programming and device communications.
+ Ability to work with VFDs and conveyer systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
+ Experience with HMI systems.
Work Environment
This position requires travel throughout the East Coast with a 10 on 4 off schedule, working in the field at customer sites. The role involves meetings using MS Teams and provides opportunities to support major companies like Amazon, UPS, and FedEx.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
