    The Project Superintendent plays a critical role in assisting the Construction Project Manager to ensure projects are completed efficiently and maintain the company's and customer's standard of excellence. This position involves taking the lead on assigned tasks with minimal oversight and provides opportunities for managing financials, administration, implementation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Project Superintendent upholds quality standards across all tasks and projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders.

    + Lead and manage onsite teams and subcontractors, providing daily updates to the project manager.

    + Coordinate and oversee job site logistics, daily work activities, customer interactions, and the progress of all subcontractors.

    + Order materials for projects, manage on-site materials, reconcile material shipments, and coordinate the delivery of equipment and materials with subcontractors.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in construction management, commercial construction, and construction supervision.

    + Proficiency in ground-up construction, renovations, or build-outs from a major general contractor.

    + Mechanical and electrical experience, along with project scheduling skills.

    + 5+ years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.

    + High School Diploma.

    + Ability to read plans and specifications, with familiarity in project schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.

    + Proficiency with MS Office Suite & Outlook; experience with MS Project and a willingness to transition to Procore.

    + Capability to manage multiple crews and disciplines.

    + Strong communication skills, both oral and verbal, with a customer-facing approach.

    + Possession of a valid driver's license for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA 30 certification is a plus (facilitated if required).

    + Open to candidates with a lead superintendent in general contracting or mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves on-site assignments throughout Palm Beach County, from Indian River County to West Palm Beach. Superintendents must be flexible with their schedules, including potential weekend work, to ensure project completion.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $48.08/hr.
