    Description and Requirements

    Position Overview:

    The Principal AI Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Lenovo’s AI adoption product strategy and driving innovation across the organization. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and delivering AI-driven applications that align with Lenovo’s global business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AI/ML, coupled with exceptional product management and strategic planning skills to lead Lenovo’s AI product initiatives to success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. **Product Strategy and Vision:**

    2. Develop and execute a comprehensive AI product strategy that aligns with Lenovo’s global business goals.

    3. Identify opportunities for AI adoption across Lenovo’s businesses.

    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and ensure alignment with market trends and business needs.

    5. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**

    6. Work closely with business leaders, product teams, and technical experts to translate business needs into actionable AI products.

    7. Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with Lenovo’s AI strategy and best practices.

    8. **Product Development and Launch:**

    9. Oversee the end-to-end AI product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.

    10. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.

    11. Ensure seamless integration of AI technologies into Lenovo’s businesses.

    12. **Market Analysis and User Insights:**

    13. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, business needs, and competitive landscape in the AI space.

    14. Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform product improvements and innovation.

    15. **AI Product Ecosystem Development:**

    16. Build and manage partnerships with AI technology providers, developers, and ecosystem players to enhance Lenovo’s AI adoption.

    17. Drive the development of AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly with Lenovo’s existing applications.

    18. **Team Leadership and Mentorship:**

    19. Lead and mentor a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

    20. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI/ML teams to ensure high-quality product development.

    21. **Performance Measurement and Reporting:**

    22. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI product initiatives.

    23. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + **Education:** Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field.

    + **Experience:** 10+ years in product management, with a strong focus on AI/ML. Proven track record of leading the development and launch of successful AI-driven products.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + **Technical Skills:** Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies (e.g., machine learning, NLP, computer vision) and familiarity with AI tools and platforms. Strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and product lifecycle management.

    + Experience in the technology or hardware industry is preferred.

    + **Leadership and Communication:** Exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    + **Others:** Strong problem-solving skills, a results-oriented mindset, and experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
