    Position Digital Coordinator

    Description

    Reports to: Director of Ecommerce

     

    Hybrid: Three days per week required in the Seattle SODO Office

     

    Hourly Rate: $25-$27 an hour

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Digital Coordinator to join our Ecommerce team. This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in digital marketing and ecommerce. The Digital Coordinator will support the Director of Ecommerce and manage a wide range of responsibilities that will drive the discovery and engagement of the Outdoor Research community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Data Analysis: Oversee distribution of product surveys and analyze on-site customer survey data to provide actionable insights into product and website experience improvements.

    + User Experience: Contribute to website optimization and functionality improvements, leveraging NPS tracking to provide data-driven insights to enhance user experience and search optimization.

    + Shopify Support: Assist in the management and presentation of product listings on the website, including supporting the merchandising of collection pages and filtering optimization. Own ongoing coupon code activations, free shipping and gift-with-purchase promotions, and website content updates, such as blog articles.

    + SEO Optimization: Support SEO initiatives by helping execute strategies aimed at building topical authority around key business categories. This includes both technical tasks, like writing alt texts, implementing on-page optimizations across ecommerce collection pages and longer-form editorial content. These tasks will incorporate traditional SEO techniques as well as leaning into emerging AI trends.

    + Marketing Channel Support: Affiliate support includes seeding products to publishers as well as communicating the editorial content calendar and scheduled promotional events. Email support entails QA by previewing broadcast campaigns and testing link destinations.

    + Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships cross-functionally, as well as with 3rd party vendors. Support team members with digital projects & marketing campaigns providing diverse experience and skills while generating exposure to the Outdoor Research community.

    + Branded Materials Coordination: Manage physical & digital assets such as interactive digital catalogs, stickers, package inserts, QR codes, and other branded assets created to drive engagement with outdoorresearch.com.

    + Content Curation: Curate user-generated content from digital & social media platforms by reviewing posts from customers wearing Outdoor Research products and organizing the content in a meaningful way for use on the website and in digital marketing campaigns. Manage responses and customer interactions

    + Sample Management: Manage the end-to-end responsibilities with the Gear-Tester program to ensure industry professionals are identified and matched with products to wear-test in the environment. Coordinate the distribution of samples, collect and analyze feedback, and report results to improve product development and marketing strategies. Assist in sample coordination for digitally led marketing & creative projects.

    + Project Management: Utilize Asana to ensure the accuracy of timelines, owners, tasks, and deadlines for various digital campaigns and projects. Hold team members accountable and provide weekly updates on progress and status.

    + Digital Trend Forecasting: Research emerging trends and share relevant insights with the team.

    + Administrative Support: Organize vendor contracts, monthly expenses, and other ad hoc requests

    Position Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Proficiency in social media platforms and a good understanding of SEO principles.

    + Experience with project management tools, particularly Asana.

    + Excel, Outlook Office Suite, Google Analytics, and experience with Shopify is a plus *willing to train.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    + Outgoing personality with strong networking and relationship-building skills.

    + Proactive and creative thinker with a passion for the outdoor industry.
