    MAIN FUNCTION:

    - To be responsible for the direct treatment of an assigned caseload of patients who are addicted to alcohol or any other mind/mood altering substances.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Provide group, individual, and family counseling.

    + Complete assessments, admissions, treatment plans, and reviews.

    + Document all services provided.

    + Maintain contact with referral sources and send progress reports.

    + Attend case conferences, supervision, and staff meetings.

    + Ensure compliance with Seafield policies and confidentiality regulations.

    + Complete discharge and transitional planning, including referrals.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

    + Assessment & referral

    + Treatment planning and review

    + Group, individual, and family counseling

    + Didactic presentation

    + Documentation and crisis intervention

    + Age-specific clinical skills (Adolescents, Geriatric)

    + Knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment

    EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

    LMSW, LMHC, CASAC or CASAC eligible.
