    Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

     

    This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

     

    We are searching for the best talent for a Transcend: Senior Manager, Methodology PMO! This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey.

     

    The Senior Manager plays a critical leadership role with the J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend team and is responsible for serving as a member of the Methodology PMO. The Senior Manager is accountable for serving Global transformation program across all program functions, work streams, and global teams adheres to the Agile program methodology. They will work globally across all releases of Transcend deployments, from solution readiness, business readiness, and transition to end-state, to promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead the program team to implement Agile deployment methodology for the S4 Hana implementation across the business and technology teams and according to the needs of the program for process improvements, automation, and real-time reporting

    + Define and implement program operations best practices through use of tools, technology, and process improvements

    + Define and implement end-to-end solution management in Jira for all releases

    + Analyze and prioritize program learnings that gain efficiencies in program deployment and delivery, and lead a team to implement these changes

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to enable a quality implemented methodology according to Agile program methodology

    + Prepare business updates for senior level team members through automated reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) by using automated workflows to program plans, trackers, and systems

    + Ensure the deployment methodology, ways of working, and training materials are updated, and teams enabled to deliver

    + Drive adoption of methodology through Jira champion network, job aids, communications, and stakeholder training sessions

    + Lead program methodology activities and team members to implement program operational improvements

    + Develop Jira data quality reports and lead Jira metadata cleanup activities working with functional teams

    + Support Release-Train-Lead (RTL) to define process, ways of working, and dashboards for PI readiness, PI planning, and PI execution

    + Support Testing lead to define process, ways of working, and dashboards for various testing cycles in X-Ray

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION:

    + Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree is required

    + FPX, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification is helpful

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    Required:

    + Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience

    + Experience in large-scale ERP transformation/implementation programs, including defining and implementing Agile methodology and process improvements

    + Proven experience as a Jira solution architect or equivalent role

    + Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) operational knowledge

    + Hands-on experience with tools required for program operations, such as Jira, xRAY, Smartsheet, or equivalent

    + Strong communication to create clear and concise reports for leadership, and the ability to work well in teams, cross-functionally, and with all levels of the organization

    + Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate to reach a desired result

    + Strong analytical and quantitative skills, embraces innovation and change with demonstrated leadership in resolving impediments

    Preferred:

    + Hands-on experience with Jira structure, query, and dashboard building

    + Experience leading/managing and developing people (direct or indirect reports)

    + Pharmaceutical Supply Chain or Commercial Operations knowledge

    + Experience, training, or certification in process improvement and operational excellence methodologies or tools

    OTHER:

    + Requires up to 25% domestic and/or international travel

    + Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $120,000 to $207,000

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
