Position:

Paws Up is seeking to add a Retail Manager to our team. The Retail Manager c reates a friendly and luxurious environment for guests to enjoy while on property. Support the Retail and Buying Manager in daily operations and keep a pulse on the long term goals of the retail department. This position will help ensure the retail team provides exceptional service to fellow team members and guests.

Primary Functions:

+ Passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor when engaging with guests and team members.

+ Engages with guests and staff in a friendly and meaningful way.

+ Develops and leads seasonal team members by investing in them and helping them learn new skills.

+ Support the Wilderness Outpost coffee shop/guest lounge as needed.

+ Provide the highest level of customer service to guests/customers and team members.

+ Create and maintain an organized and visually appealing environment to enhance the guest/customer experience.

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day business needs.

+ Partners with Retail and Buying Manager to communicate with merchants and vendors, as needed.

+ Keeps the Retail and Buying Manager fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

+ Educates self, staff, and guests on merchandise and events on property.

+ Fulfill, package, and ship online and in store orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.

+ Manages inventory and resolves any issues regarding damages or returns or Purchase Order discrepancies.

+ Updates purchase orders in inventory management system.

+ Assist Retail and Buying Manager with budgets and business plans.

+ Partners to assist in providing thoughtful amenities and for groups and special events.

+ Able to work independently.

+ Owns tasks given by Retail and Buying Manager.

+ Ability to work flexible hours and holidays.

Looking for Team Members with:

+ 5+ years experience in product-based retail operations.

+ 3+ years experience in a leadership role

+ Knowledge of world class hospitality and guest service management.

+ Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

+ Must be proficient in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams).

+ Experience with Shopify preferred.

+ Valid State Driver’s License.
