Description
Mistras is seeking an entry level technician for fulltime work based in the Rosemount, MN area.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
+ Willingness to develop skills in 2D software
+ Work towards self-sufficiency within 1yr of hire
+ Ability to learn and work independently within a year for the following office tools: Office 365, AutoCAD, Isometric drawings, and P & ID’s
+ Able to lead small projects as skills advance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Able to work 40hrs in an office setting.
+ Capable of showing up to as scheduled
+ Strong computer skills
+ Experience preferred but not required

Working Conditions:
+ Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
Essential Physical Functions:
+ Ability to frequently lift and carry 30-50 pounds.
+ Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively.
+ Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to conduct investigations.
+ Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits the employee to perform routine office duties.
+ Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
+ Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
