Description
Georgia Military College is now seeking qualified candidates to fill the position ofAssociate Registrar.This position is responsible for providing supervision and management support of the Academic Records Office, creating and maintaining student records, and routine updating of the computer system database management.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for oversight in processing all Datatel Correction (Student record) requests. Process adjustments to degree data entries for evaluations. Oversee all course withdrawals from each campus.
+ Send out course withdrawal instructions periodically to all faculty.
+ Process all purchase order requests and submit monthly billing to the business office for payment.
+ Run CLUP and NRST reports at the end of each term. Verify data for National Clearinghouse on enrollment and degree verification services. Run missing social security reports and email students.
+ Convert incomplete grades and process academic disenrollment. Process change of grades Process non-attendance purge for each campus. ASTR update for all CJE students, History/Constitution.
+ Assist with interviewing, selection, and training of Registrar personnel. Direct Supervision over Front Line and Federal Work-Study Students. Trains new staff for Registrar Assistant teams. Provide SOP manuals and update information Annually. Other duties as assigned by Registrar.
+ Responsible for the maintenance of student and faculty records, and assisted with HOPE calculations. Assist with evaluations and transcript requests. Create Non-Attendance letters for non-matriculated students. Set up new schools in the Colleague system. Assist with the preparation of diplomas. Backup for Transcript Evaluators, Transcript Processors, and the Administrative Assistant.
+ Assist with the process of incoming transfer transcripts for immediate scanning and routing to the correct campus for evaluations. Assist with the monitoring of the creation of new student records. Assist with the term audits of International and Dual Enrollment students. DSO handling international students.

Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of experience
Experience
Required: 3 - 5 years experience in an office environment and supervision experience
Preferred: 5 years experience in higher education with supervision experience
Skills
Required: Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to train and manage staff. Ability to follow through on tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred: Knowledge of the Colleague Student Information System and Perceptive Software. Familiar with GMC Policies and Procedures.
