The Center for Anti-Infective Research and Development (CAIRD) at Hartford Hospital has a long-standing history of performing cutting edge research in Infectious Diseases. The Center participates in all aspects of anti-infective research, including preclinical pharmacology of novel compounds as well as clinical pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and outcomes research studies of currently available antimicrobials. *Summary:* Responsible for providing leadership in the development, validation, production phases of analytical work undertaken in the Center for Anti-infective Research and Development (CAIRD) with a major focus on HPLC and LC-MS/MS methodologies. Incumbents will have the responsibility for conduct of research experiments and data integrity as it pertains to analytical methods. * Education: BS/MS or PhD in Chemistry or related science * 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, drug development and/or discovery * Must have strong bioanalytical background in HPLC and/or LC-MS/MS method development and validation for small molecules/pharmaceuticals * Excellent skills in collecting data and accurately maintaining laboratory documentation required * Expert level of technical skills * Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills for collaboration both within and outside CAIRD We take great care of careers.
