Job Description:
The Contracts Senior Specialist will be a member of PFG’s Contract Pricing Department within the Accounting and Finance group and will provide support to the Corporate Rebates team. The position assists with the interpretation & implementation of customer agreements for national accounts to ensure contract compliance as well as accurate rebate, royalty and other fund tracking & disbursement. The Contracts Senior Specialist will work with the appropriate personnel in resolving issues in a timely manner that impact accurate pricing, reporting, tracking, payment & reconciliation to the customer and profitability to PFG. The job requires a high level of attention to detail and work ethic as the work has a broad impact on delivering the correct price to PFG’s customers.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
+ Assist with rebate, royalty & other MDA requirements entry into the Portal Rebate system
+ Review accruals for accuracy prior to processing
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with PFS Accounting teams on reporting, processing & reconciliations
+ Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient entry, analysis, reporting, and internal controls
+ Implement and review the set-up of PFG’s customer agreements, verifying the accuracy of the contract set-up in the Portal rebate system to the terms and conditions contained within the agreement.
+ Assist in training new hires and ongoing training of existing team members.
+ Communicate with cross-functional teams, customers and internal sales personnel to ensure timely and accurate reporting & reconciliation.
+ Ensure proper documentation exists for all agreements.
+ Compute customer credits/debits and customer fund true-ups relating to retroactive correction or completion of information.
+ Determine the origin of discrepancies and work with other business units in the communication and resolution.
+ Prepare various ad-hoc reporting for use by cross-functional teams, customers and internal sales personnel within PFG.
+ Maintain process documentation.
+ Monitor a shared inbox.
+ Adapt to frequent changes in processes and workload.
+ Collaborate to develop efficiencies within the department.
+ Develop and document standardized procedures
+ High attention to detail while executing Distribution Agreements to ensure pricing accuracy, customer satisfaction, and profitability
+ Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent 2+ years of recent experience in a fast-paced office environment in an accounting related function.
Ability to learn new systems and processes with basic training.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with large amounts of computer data.
Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution.
Ability to prepare accurate, complete, and easily understood reports.
Strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, etc.
Self-motivated with great initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must present a highly professional image and attitude.
