    Job Description

    **About the Team:** The manufacturing team is part of ZF's Chassis Systems and focuses on the production of advanced axle systems. The team is continuously working with innovative technology and works cross functionally with other teams and departments within ZF.

    What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:

    + Develop assembly concepts in consideration of ZF Chassis Module Systems (Work Plan / Investment Plan / Assembly Line Layout / Project Timing).

    + Support in acquisition projects for the production area.

    + Prepare RFQ for equipment supplier and manage the integration.

    + Support launch of new assembly equipment.

    + Prepare and maintain PFMEAS’s, value stream & standard work instructions.

    + Initiate and conduct workshops in the plants e.g. line balancing, problem solving, new concepts including training plans.

    + Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

    + Determines product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.

    Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:

    + Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering preferred).

    + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

    + Good mechanical and technical skills.

    + Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, CAD, and SAP skills.

    + Good time management & prioritizing skills.

    + Willingness to travel if needed.

    + Team player and self – motivated work style.
