Description We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team in Rensselaer, Indiana. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate invoicing, freight billing, and sales data entry while providing excellent customer service. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with at least two years of experience in billing functions and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage freight billing and ensure all related documentation is complete.

• Enter and maintain sales data in company systems with attention to detail.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoicing, collaborating with relevant departments.

• Handle Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation and ensure compliance with logistics requirements.

• Provide prompt and attentive customer service to address billing inquiries.

• Support logistics operations by maintaining accurate billing records.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools to organize and analyze billing data. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or related roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Familiarity with freight billing processes and logistics documentation.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to address invoicing discrepancies.

• Effective communication skills for customer service and team collaboration.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
