    Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of financial and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient management of accounts. This position requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in key bookkeeping tools and practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial records.

    • Manage bank reconciliations to track and maintain cash flow consistency.

    • Oversee bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining ledgers and preparing financial reports.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to input and organize financial data effectively.

    • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.

    • Conduct data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and precise records.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.

    • Generate reports and summaries to support decision-making and audits as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

    • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.

    • Solid understanding of payroll processing and related compliance requirements.

    • Demonstrated expertise in account and bank reconciliations.

    • Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

    • Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
