We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit and Collections Specialist for various contract and contract to hire opportunities. In this role, you will manage the accounts receivable process, monitor past-due accounts, and ensure cash flow efficiency. Your excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service mindset will play a critical role in maintaining positive client relationships and protecting the company’s financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and manage the accounts receivable (AR) aging report to track outstanding balances.

+ Communicate with clients to collect past-due receivables while maintaining positive relationships.

+ Evaluate and establish credit terms for new and existing clients based on their financial history and risk assessments.

+ Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with clients in a timely manner.

+ Process adjustments, payment applications, and account reconciliations accurately.

+ Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to address credit and collections issues.

+ Generate and provide regular credit and collections reports to senior management.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws or regulations related to credit and collections.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections (2-3+ years preferred).

+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

+ Knowledge of credit policies, collections practices, and financial reporting.

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred but not required.
