Description
Our client, a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to driving meaningful change in their community, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to support their daily operations. Key Responsibilities
+ Provide high-level administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements for leadership staff.
+ Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other professional documents.
+ Handle incoming communications such as emails and phone calls, responding promptly or routing to the appropriate team member.
+ Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
+ Assist with the planning and execution of organizational events, including board meetings, charity events, and volunteer activities.
+ Support fundraising initiatives by preparing donor correspondence and maintaining donor databases.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless operation of daily office functions.
+ Monitor office supplies and coordinate with vendors for replenishment needs.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for general office inquiries.
+ Take on additional tasks as required to assist in achieving organizational goals.
Requirements
+ 2-4 years of administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting or mission-driven organization.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database systems, such as CRM or donor management software.
+ Exceptional organizational skills with a keen ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
+ High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
+ Understanding of nonprofit operations or experience with fundraising support is a strong plus.
