Description We are looking for a dedicated Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will oversee the credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments, minimizing risks of bad debts, and maintaining positive customer relationships. You will play an essential part in reconciling accounts receivable, processing adjustments, and supporting financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the creditworthiness of customers and review quotes and sales orders for approval.

• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.

• Reconcile accounts receivable balances and initiate credit memos, refunds, and adjustments as needed.

• Collaborate with management to prepare and review monthly cash forecasts.

• Provide exceptional support to the Customer Service team by addressing credit and collections inquiries.

• Deliver requested invoices to customers efficiently and accurately.

• Evaluate challenging accounts and work with management to develop effective solutions.

• Maintain regular communication with reporting managers to ensure alignment on priorities and progress.

• Utilize Oracle and Excel to manage data, generate reports, and analyze financial trends.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the accounts receivable and collections functions. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in credit and collections, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.

• Strong knowledge of credit analysis methods, including financial statement analysis and liquidity ratios.

• Proficiency in accounts receivable reconciliation and effective collection methods.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros and complex formulas.

• Familiarity with Oracle and Noetix systems is highly desirable.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced business environment while maintaining clear communication.

• Experience in financial modeling and valuation analysis is a plus.
