We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Docker Container Mockito GITHUB Docker Hub Container Registry API Gateway Authentication & Authorization Netflix Hystrix Eureka Apache Log4J Spring Cloud Spring Boot Docker Administration JSON Web Token Redis Gradle EHCache Spring Integration Java JSON Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API Junit Spring Framework SOAP Eclipse

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and efficient architectures using Docker Container and Spring Boot to meet business requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mockito and Junit for effective testing strategies.

• Utilize GITHUB and Docker Hub for version control and container management ensuring seamless deployment processes.

• Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JSON Web Token and API Gateway.

• Implement Netflix Hystrix and Eureka for resilient microservices architecture enhancing system reliability.

• Optimize logging and monitoring with Apache Log4J to ensure system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Lead the integration of Redis and EHCache for efficient data caching and retrieval improving application responsiveness.

• Oversee the use of Gradle and Maven for build automation ensuring consistent and reliable software delivery.

• Provide expertise in Spring Cloud and Spring Integration to facilitate seamless communication between services.

• Develop and maintain Rest API and SOAP services ensuring interoperability and data exchange across platforms.

• Utilize Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA for efficient development workflows enhancing productivity and code quality.

• Implement Java and JSON solutions to ensure robust data handling and processing capabilities.

• Drive the adoption of Spring MVC and Spring Core to build flexible and maintainable applications.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in Docker Administration and Container Registry ensuring efficient container orchestration.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Spring Framework and Java showcasing strong backend development skills.

• Have a solid understanding of API Gateway and Authentication & Authorization ensuring secure data access.

• Experience with Netflix Hystrix and Eureka is essential for building resilient microservices.

• Familiarity with Apache Log4J and Redis is crucial for optimizing system performance.

• Expertise in Gradle EHCache and Spring Integration is required for efficient application development.

• Nice to have domain experience in Multi Channel enhancing cross-platform capabilities.

• Strong knowledge of JSON Web Token and Rest API is vital for secure and efficient data exchange.

• Proficiency in Eclipse IntelliJ IDEA and Maven is necessary for streamlined development processes.

**Other Compensation** :

Applications will be accepted until 5/31/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000/Year to $116,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
