Summary
The Customer Service Support Representative (CSSRs) is responsible for building, managing, and developing relationships to retain customers and meet or exceed goals. The CSSR is responsible for a wide range of tasks including performing duties for the Customer Service team during periods of absence, heavy workload, and/or other business needs. The ideal candidate is socially engaging, collaborative with internal departments, and able to change their approach depending on the needs of the department.
Education and Experience
+ A good understanding of marketing, sales, and customer service principles acquiredthrough 1 - 2 years ofeducation and training in a related area/or equivalent experience.
+ Must have excellent analytical, customer relations, sales, and negotiations skills, general knowledge of U.S. geography and basic map-reading skills.
+ Proficientin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
+ Excellent communication skills (written, listening and verbal).
+ Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work independently.
+ Must be a team player, amenable to a variety of work projects.
+ Must be analytical with the ability to apply data.
+ Must be proficient in responding to internal and external customer situations, responding to customer needs as required.
+ Must be able to both think creatively and provide creative contributions to projects.
+ Must be able to demonstrate a proactive commitment to ATS corporate values and the success of the staff.
+ Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.
+ Experience in developing strong relationships to effectively manage, plan, and prioritize workload.
+ Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish trust and rapport with all levels of staff. Able to relate effectively to diverse cultures.
+ Strong planning and problem-solving skills; able to identify and resolve problems promptly.
+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Enters and records all terms and conditions of sales/loads (i.e., load specifications, negotiated rates, dates) in the computer system.
+ Provides professional, courteous customer service by serving as a liaison between customer and ATS operations.
+ Communicates with the Business Development Manager to assess and distribute current information on the development and needs of the customer.
+ Obtains credit approval on customers' loads by verifying current credit status and working with the credit department as needed.
+ Communicates with internal staff and customers to answer questions, and resolve issues as needed.
+ Meets all company and department objectives and deadlines.
+ Follows all company and department policies and procedures.
+ Completes all duties in accordance with sound marketing and customer serviceprincipals.
+ Support ATS' culture by aligning actions, behaviors, performance, and decisions in accordance with the Company's values as set forth in our All-Employee Competencies.
+ Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours and infrequent travel may be required.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
+ Quickly and accurately evaluate pricing, capacity, and timing of opportunity.
+ Qualify load requirements to position for success and offer solutions to the customer. Ask questions to confirm load requirements, leveraging knowledge and resources to internally facilitate solutions/risk.
+ Effectively identify and complete post-delivery processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and driver pay.
+ Manages Customers to a low TBI%, responding accurately/timely to ATS task requests.

Physical Requirements
This position performs work primarily in an office setting.
+ Constantly in a stationary position and occasionally will move around.
+ Constantly operates a keyboard and mouse and constantly utilizes a computer monitor(s).
+ Frequently conversing with internal and external customers.
Compensation & Benefits: • The base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $42,000 plus position specific, performance-based incentive program. First year incentive earnings include the greater of a 6-month training incentive of $500/month ($3,000) or actual incentives earned. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. • Anderson Trucking Service is committed to supporting our employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
