Position Overview

We are seeking a well-rounded Construction Worker who is proficient in **carpentry, concrete finishing, and general construction tasks** . The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team on a variety of job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Carpentry:

+ Frame walls, roofs, and floors using wood or metal studs

+ Install doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry

+ Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Concrete Finishing:

+ Pour, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, and curbs

+ Operate power trowels, screeds, and other finishing tools

+ Apply curing and sealing compounds

General Construction:

+ Assist with demolition, site prep, and cleanup

+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

+ Load/unload materials and maintain a clean work environment

+ Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

Qualifications

+ **3+ years** of experience in construction, with proven skills in carpentry and concrete work

+ Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions

+ Familiarity with OSHA safety standards

+ Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

+ Ability to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with formwork and rebar installation

+ Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is a plus

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

+ Certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR) are highly desirable

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
