What We Seek
We are looking for an **Analytics Developer I** with a passion for transforming healthcare data into meaningful insights, with a particular emphasis on Care Management reporting.
In this role, you'll contribute both by enhancing existing data products and by developing new analytic solutions that turn complex data into clear, actionable visualizations. Your work will empower stakeholders across Care Management and other Value-Based Care (VBC) programs to make data-informed decisions.
We're especially seeking candidates with a growing foundation in analytics engineering. Experience or interest in tools such as **DBT and Power BI** , as well as working within **cloud-based data environments like Snowflake or azure** , will be highly valuable in this position.
Responsibilities
• (20%) Data Visualization Expertise: Design, develop visually appealing analytic products and dashboards geared towards care management and other VBC domain reporting, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• (20%) Analytics engineering: Focus on building semantic models using tools like DBT. Extract data from cloud platforms like Snowflake or Azure to create data sources and datasets.
• (20%) Care Management Collaboration: Collaborate closely with care management teams to understand their reporting needs and translate requirements into effective and user-friendly visualizations.
• (10%) UX/UI Design: Apply principles of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to create visually appealing and intuitive analytics products, enhancing user engagement and understanding
• (10%) Data Integration: Integrate diverse healthcare datasets to provide comprehensive insights, utilizing Power BI's and other MS Power Platform.
• (20%) Adherence to Best Practices: Stay abreast of Data Visualization best practices and industry trends, ensuring adherence to data visualization and reporting standards.
Qualifications
• **No single candidate will come in with all the desired qualifications** . Above all else, we’re looking for someone with an eagerness and ability to learn new skills and solve dynamic problems in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics) or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and/or OLAP.
• Experience with Snowflake (SQL is desirable).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics).
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, particularly in the context of care management.
• An expertise in visual reporting and storytelling.
