Responsibilities

+ Serve as central point of contact for any IT Operational issues.

+ Ensure stable operation and efficient performance of client's enterprise networks and projects. monitoring and managing all aspects of IT operations to ensure they meet performance metrics.

+ Provide leadership, project and activity planning, coordination, and day-to-day direction as needed, produce required deliverables and meet the relevant operations/project milestones.

+ Manage multiple IT teams/managers to include network, system administration, systems security, Tier 1/2 Help Desk with team ranging in size from 5-15 team members.

+ Analyze current operations practice to identify areas for improvement and create project management deliverables.

+ Provide management oversight of all other contract employees.

+ Foster a collaborative environment.

+ Work directly with client's program manager and develop an outstanding customer relationship.

+ Identify risks and recommend mitigation plans.

+ Develop and maintain staffing plan by recruiting and interviewing new contract personnel.

+ Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ A degree in Computer Science or other IT related discipline is preferred.

+ Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) is a plus.

+ Ten years of IT and management experience is preferred.

+ Excellent organization skills and attention to details.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.

+ Minimum DoD interim Secret clearance.
