At Pressed Roots, our Assistant Studio Managers are entrusted to serve as a liaison for clients, employees, and the Studio Manager, while also assisting with leadership tasks and operational responsibilities at the front desk. You will also master the knowledge and skills needed to eventually run your own Pressed Roots franchise, cultivate new business, and develop a team.

+ Consistently greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude

+ Supervise, train and assist employees in partnership with the Studio Manager and Training Department

+ Maintain proper inventory levels

+ Lead the Front Desk team and all the responsibilities within the team in partnership with the Studio Manager

+ Lead technical aspects of the 12-step methodology as it relates to coaching, feedback, and accountability for all stylist in partnership with the studio trainers and Studio Manager

+ Consistently distribute reports pulled by the Studio Manager to the team on a weekly basis

+ Drives maximum KPI performance in partnership with the Studio Manager

+ Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) in partnership with the Studio Manager

+ Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance at all times

+ Support the Studio Manager in all tasks/duties

+ Being aware of everything happening amongst employees within business hours

+ Allow new hires to shadow you and provide feedback and guidance as needed

+ Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc) in partnership with the Studio Manager

+ Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance at all times

+ Support the Studio Manager in all tasks/duties

+ Being aware of everything happening amongst employees within business hours

+ Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required - including but not limited to: Helping stylists clean their tools in between appointments, sweeping up stations, training new front desk staff employees in partnership with the Studio Manager

+ Hold all employees accountable by enforcing policies efficiently and with integrity

+ Additional management duties as needed

Qualifications

+ 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or in a team leadership role

+ Demonstrated success in leading teams and achieving operational goals

+ Background in fast-paced, customer-focused service environments

+ Committed to delivering exceptional customer service with a passion for quality and consistency

+ Experience in team development, coaching, and performance management

+ Proficient in inventory management and staff scheduling

+ Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed targets

+ Salon experience and a Texas cosmetology license are a strong plus

+ Pressed Roots complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding background checks
