• Security Project Manager

    Description

    Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership • Lead the end-to-end management of complex infrastructure and security projects, including cloud migrations, security tool rollouts, network upgrades, and compliance initiatives. • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource plans, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams. • Manage risks, issues, and changes proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximum alignment with business priorities. Infrastructure & Security Focus Areas • Oversee implementation and upgrades of network, server, and storage infrastructure, ensuring alignment with availability, scalability, and security standards. • Support cybersecurity programs such as IAM, SIEM integration, endpoint protection, firewall deployments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC 2). • Collaborate with cloud architects and security engineers on hybrid and cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure infrastructure-as-code initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication • Serve as the liaison between technical teams and business units, translating technical concepts into business impact. • Provide regular project updates, dashboards, and reports to IT leadership and executive stakeholders. • Facilitate project meetings, task tracking, and documentation to maintain transparency and accountability across teams. Process Improvement & Governance • Apply project management best practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) and champion standardized methodologies across infrastructure and security projects. • Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons-learned documentation to drive continuous improvement. • Support governance activities, including audit readiness, compliance tracking, and policy enforcement.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
