    We are a business to business support service for independent mental healthcare practitioners, which helps providers service a growing client base. We provide administrative and organizational services to simplify the processes of sourcing leads, marketing, billing and collecting payments from patients and insurers. We have grown to support over 1,800 mental healthcare providers since we opened in 2011.

    About The Role

     

    The Contracting Assistant will support with the day-to-day flow of processing provider Membership Agreements within our sales team. They will be an expert on the Membership Agreement and will provide their expertise to new provider members as well as internal departments. The Contracting Assistant will play a key role in the growth of the business as timely and accurate execution of agreements is vital to the overall success and understanding of a new provider member.

     

    The role will rely heavily on detailed and thorough organization systems and documentation that will allow them to track, process, and complete a high volume of Membership Agreements throughout the provider onboarding and renewal process. They must possess effective communication skills both written and verbal to communicate, negotiate and assess each conversation and then disseminate that information to other departments. Proactive communication is key in this role for achieving timely scheduling and completion of contract-related meetings.

     

    They must have critical thinking and relationship building skills that will allow them to identify potential barriers with budding provider relationships and the ability to escalate these issues to Business Relationship Manager and other appropriate managers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Timely execution of contracting members Membership Agreements including scheduling, writing, and processing.

    + High level of assessment and ability to make judgements based on limited interactions.

    + Monitor timelines and schedules to ensure deadlines and onboarding provider goals are met.

    + Collaborate cross-departmentally to schedule and execute onboarding provider membership agreements.

    + Develop expertise on the Membership Agreement and ensure all onboarding providers retain and understand the details of the membership agreement.

    + Review Membership Agreement options with renewing and active providers, including advising on areas where adjustments to the contract may be options.

    + Develop expertise on the mental health field including the variety of licensure types and requirements.

    + Answer questions and provide training on the Membership Agreement to internal teams as needed.

    + Develop an understanding of how the company manages outlier situations including breaches of the agreement and escalate situations appropriately.

    + Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and tracking of Membership Agreements, including ensuring CRM notes and data is accurate at all times.

    + Record and track deadlines through the CRM and other calendar systems.

    + Process other contract-related requests such as non-disclosure agreements and income verification requests.

    + Proactively support the Business Relationship Manager and other onboarding managers on routine and non-routine contract matters, such as gathering and organizing contracting data and assisting with drafting contracting related communications.

    + Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday through Friday.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and job-related training

    + Previous experience managing contracts, projects, or teams.

    + Professional verbal and written communication skills, negotiation and assessment skills required

    + Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

    + Paralegal experience preferred but not required

    + Sales experience preferred

    + Proficiency with various office technologies, including Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems

    Job Type: Full-time

     

    Salary: $60,000- $70,000 per year with opportunity for advancement with tenure and performance.
