    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Ensure delivery vehicle is in a safe operating condition by completing the pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.

    + Verify accuracy of all equipment picked up or delivered using PO and Job Number.

    + Maintain a clean, safe environment in the cab as well as outside of vehicle, plus ensure gates and lift gate are secure to the vehicle; wash vehicle as necessary.

    + When not in use, all straps and blocking materials & tools are to be safely stowed in their proper place.

    + Comply with all safe driving rules and traffic laws.

    + Ensure that the materials on the truck are secure, properly strapped and blocked.

    + Ensure that all paperwork is in vehicle when handling hazardous material.

    + Performs material, tools and equipment pickup at suppliers for delivery to either the shop or jobsite.

    + Ensure that all deliveries arrive in a timely manner.

    + End of the day: make sure all delivery packaging is discarded in the proper container and all paperwork is turned in (pick/up delivery receipts, pre-post trip inspections).

    + Wear complete DeBra-Kuempel uniform (PPE) with necessary badges or identification.

    + Keep shop clean and materials/tools organized.

    + Notify proper staff of any vehicle maintenance issues.

    + Assist with warehouse duties when needed along with odd jobs around office area.

    + Experience with towing trailers is preferred but not necessary.

    + Experience operating a fork truck (if no experience, training will be provided)

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + Work hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday (additional hours when necessary).

    + Hold a valid CDL A driver’s license (Optional).

    + Current DOT Medical Card.

    + Clean MVR.

    + Physically able to lift 50 lbs.

    + Team player
