The Human Resources Manager is primarily responsible for day-to-day HR support. HR support will include administration of HR policies and procedures; partnering with site leaders to provide employee relations support; coordination of employee recruiting process; PFML/FMLA, disability administration, employee wellness events and annual activities.
+ Responsible for providing strategic HR guidance, coaching, and direction to managers in areas including but not limited to, talent management, succession planning, total rewards, policy interpretation, associate data integrity, communication effectiveness, associate engagement, and leadership best practices.
+ Partners with business operations leaders to ensure an understanding of business needs and objectives and proactively resolve HR and business issues.
+ Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
+ Utilizes HR systems to generate reports and perform complex multi-layer analysis to identify trends in performance, turnover, compensation, etc. and utilizes findings to develop solutions that address business needs.
+ Perform recruitment activities for exempt, office, technical, and hourly position openings. Works collaboratively with hiring manager(s) to source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for selection process.
+ Provides support to payroll function through auditing of the weekly and bi-weekly ADP payroll to ensure accurate, efficient, and error-free processing.
+ Responsible for overseeing the employment lifecycle process, including new hire integration, performance, talent management, and termination.
+ Responsible for coordinating and delivering the employee orientation program, ensuring new employees understand the organization, benefits, policies, and culture.
+ Responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements such as I-9 documentation, E-Verification, New Hire, EEO, Affirmative Action and Annual notifications, Posting notifications, etc.
+ Responsible for and/or provides oversight of all employee disability, PFL, and/or FMLA requests. Also includes return to work and ADA accommodation requests.
+ In collaboration with EHS Manager, coordinates and oversees the Workers Compensation case management and return to work process.
+ Provides employee relations support Is available on a day-to-day basis for questions and is an available resource to all employees.
+ Coordinate and administer reward and other recognition programs.
+ Manages the talent management process which includes performance and succession planning.
+ In collaboration with the Director of Corporate HR, is responsible for policy development, interpretation, review and updating.
+ In collaboration with the Director of Corporate HR, is responsible for the development and delivery of employee training initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, HR or related field with 5+ years of Human Resources experience. In lieu of a degree, 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources is required.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications is required.
+ Knowledge and experience with HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws.
+ Ability to develop and present information and concepts to all levels of Associates in a simplified manner.
+ Ability to think strategically and execute at a tactical level.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
+ Successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism is critical.
Nice to Have
+ Human Resources experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
+ PHR certification.
+ General knowledge of ISO requirements and working knowledge of those requirements as they pertain to the human resources function.
