Job Description

Shipping Operator

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE;

+ ​Loading trucks, containers and rail cars

+ Stacking finished goods

+ Scale trucks in and out, receiving and shipping, control truck traffic

+ Answer phone and voicemails from internal and external customers

+ Print off and file pick-lists from printer and generate bill of ladings

+ Maintain various tracking documents and shipment logs

+ Prepare customs documents for Canada and over seas

+ Maintain and order supplies for shipping office

+ Communicate with Order Center on problems surrounding outbound pick-lists

+ Ship mail and packages via UPS daily

+ Unloading and storing raw materials

+ General yard clean up and organization

+ Assist with Regular Inventories

+ Cross training for Security position

+ Assisting other departments as needed upon request

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

+ Adherence to all Safety and Quality policies and procedures

+ Experience in loading trucks strongly preferred

+ Professional mannerism, a positive attitude and good communication skills

+ Unwavering Customer Focus

+ Daily interaction with truck drivers

+ Loading correct product every time (requires strong attention to detail)

+ Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

+ Basic computer skills

+ OT will be required based upon business demands

+ Work hours are primarily day shift and will vary as needed

+ Minimum of I-year forklift experience required

+ Must be able to operate, on board and exit a forklift often throughout your shift

+ Must be able to lift and move up to 85 pounds as needed

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;

+ Must be authorized to work in the United States

+ No travel requirements
