The Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness (VPOE) is a senior leadership team member responsible for providing leadership and direction to optimize organizational performance and strategic execution. With extensive process improvement and project management expertise, this position oversees the prioritization, planning, and execution of complex initiatives and the organizational approach to process improvement while also fostering cross-departmental collaboration to achieve enterprise-wide goals.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the execution, and continuous refinement of the client's strategic plan to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and related business objectives. In doing so, own the client's continuous strategy management process.
+ Drive accountability for achieving operational and strategic goals by establishing clear performance indicators, milestones, and reporting.
+ Develop an organization-wide approach to continuous improvement
+ Working with operational and strategic leaders, collaboratively develop and support effective talent acquisition, talent management, and capacity management processes to support a thriving organization.
+ Regularly communicate progress on the strategic plan to senior leadership, external committee members, Boards of Directors and other key stakeholders.
+ Drive operational excellence and efficiency through workflow optimization, process improvement, and the execution of root cause analyses (as necessary) to address challenges and drive efficiencies.
+ Serve as a centralized resource for best practices on project management and program management, implementing tools and frameworks to support the effective execution of initiatives across departments and to promote consistency and transparency.
+ Provide leadership for facilities, contract, and privacy management to ensure the campus and contracts support the strategic goals while managing external and internal privacy concerns
+ Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior leadership, department directors, and functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless initiative execution.
+ Champion change management initiatives that align with strategic goals, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in across all levels of the organization.
+ Develop strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, adaptability, and respect for people.
+ Working cross-functionally, support key internal communications strategies and processes.
+ Drive data-informed decision-making by establishing systems for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on performance and culture.
+ Analyze outcomes to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement, driving informed decision-making and accountability.
+ Foster a results-oriented culture by promoting ownership, transparency, and the achievement of organizational objectives.
+ Create and manage key staff development initiatives.
Experience Requirements:
+ 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in organizational effectiveness, strategy execution, or operational management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
+ Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams, driving enterprise-wide initiatives, and improving organizational performance.
+ Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, goal setting, KPI development, and performance management at an organizational level.
+ Strong awareness and experience in Human Resource policies and practices.
+ Experience in facilities (buildings) oversight and management, including maintenance, security, and operational efficiency.
+ Strong awareness and experience in vendor management, contracts, and privacy.
+ Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies that emphasize the principles of reducing waste, optimizing workflows, and respecting people.
+ Expertise in guiding large-scale organizational change, fostering adaptability, and promoting a positive culture of continuous improvement.
+ Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
+ PMP certification is advantageous.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions and performance improvements.
+ Exceptional ability to lead diverse teams, build consensus, and collaborate across departments and senior leadership to achieve shared goals.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead inclusively, foster diverse work environments, and promote initiatives that enhance employee engagement and promote positive organizational culture.
Education Requirements:
+ Preferred Master’s degree in business, organizational development, operations management, or a related field, including health administration (e.g., MPH, MPA, or equivalent required).
_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
