    Role Overview

     

    Sodexo is seeking an experienced **Executive Chef 2** for **Saint Anne's Hospital** located in **Fall River, MA.** The Executive Chef will oversee a team of approximately 15 culinarians serving patient meals, and cafeteria retail. In this role you will be a part of the Sodexo management team, reporting to the Food GM. The schedule for this role is approximately 6:30am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Your role will be about 50% hands-on chef responsibility and 50% leadership/administrative related.

     

    **Saint Anne's Hospital** a full-service, acute care Catholic hospital with 211 beds and satellites in Attleboro,Swansea, Dartmouth, and New Bedford, Massachusetts. The hospital provides nationally recognized patientand family-centered inpatient and outpatient clinical services.

    What You'll Do

    + implement and maintain processes and safety standards for the food services team

    + maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements

    + effectively coach, mentor, and train staff

    + prepare orders and maintain appropriate inventory

    + bring innovative and fresh ideas for retail, catering and patient services

    + cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital

    What You Bring

    + strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;

    + excellent leadership and communication skills

    + high end catering and dining experience and a passion for culinary arts

    + a production culinary background, ideally in a fast paced environment: up-scale restaurant/retail/catering

    + culinary training and certifications/education is a plus

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
