The role** **you** **’ll** **contribute** **:

The Pharmacy Manager is a medication expert whose responsibilities extend to both the hospital and retail settings, ensuring the provision of optimal patient care consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the Pharmacare Center. Utilizing organizational skills, pharmaceutical expertise, and people skills, the manager works closely with patients, physicians, and other hospital and external personnel. The role involves overseeing the compounding and dispensing of medications, in addition to providing patients with specific information regarding side effects, interactions, and the expected benefits of the medications dispensed. The Pharmacy Manager is also accountable for managing the daily operations of pharmacy services, projecting and adhering to the budget, and productivity standards. This position requires a dedication to delivering pharmaceutical care to the public, with a focus on ensuring that all activities are performed in a manner that promotes the health and well-being of the patients served. Eligibility to be registered as a pharmacist preceptor with the relevant Board of Pharmacy and the various schools of pharmacy located within the jurisdiction-Preferred.

+ Responsible for communication and marketing to hospital-based and community-based physicians, nurses, office personnel and patients regarding community pharmacy services.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of the levels of growth, development, and skills for: Neonate/Infant (0-<1yr.), Pediatric (1-<12yrs.), Adolescent (12-<18yrs.) and Geriatric (65 yrs.)

+ Serves as a member of the Extending Excellence Service Team.

+ When staffing, follows job description for Retail Pharmacist.

+ Responsible for the work-flow design of the prescription processing and medication dispensing processes. Manages the department efficiently and effectively to support optimal patient care and fiscal profitability.

**Minimum qualifications** :

+ Bachelor's Required / Master's Required

+ 2 Supervisory experience Required

+ RPH - Registered Pharmacist Required
