    **Job Title:** Security Program Training Lead

    **Location:** Sunnyvale, CA

    **Job Type:** Full-Time; Hybrid

    **Salary Range:** $83,000-$93,000

    SUMMARY:

    The Security Program Training Lead is a critical contributor to the operational excellence and preparedness of the GSOC team, responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training programs for both new and existing personnel. This role entails developing tailored, role-specific training content, leading onboarding initiatives, and delivering ongoing remedial instruction to ensure all team members maintain a high level of proficiency. The Training Lead will establish and analyze performance metrics to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for skill enhancement, and recommend targeted development strategies. Additionally, this position provides support and training on GSOC tools and systems, promoting operational efficiency and adherence to security protocols.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure new GSOC personnel are fully proficient in security systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational workflows.

    2. Develop and execute continuous training initiatives for GSOC Intelligence & Operations Analysts and Supervisors to reflect procedural updates and evolving operational requirements.

    3. Implement targeted corrective training based on after-action reviews, capturing key lessons learned and driving process enhancements across GSOC functions.

    4. Author and maintain instructional content that reflects current threat landscapes, industry best practices, and the latest internal tools and technologies.

    5. Facilitate and lead training sessions both onsite and virtually, adapting delivery methods to meet situational and learner needs.

    6. Monitor and report on the training progress of new and current personnel, ensuring alignment with defined performance metrics and operational benchmarks.

    7. Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback from trainees and stakeholders to refine training content and delivery.

    8. Produce data-driven evaluations of training effectiveness, including post-training performance analytics, to identify improvement areas and guide program enhancements.

    9. Collaborate with the GSOC Operations Manager and leadership to detect performance trends and recommend training or procedural interventions as needed.

    10. Propose and implement specific training solutions grounded in performance data and aligned with strategic operational goals.

    11. Support ongoing education and upskilling of GSOC staff on key platforms and tools such as Onsolve, Dataminr, Ontic, Factal, Lenel, and Milestone.

    12. Conduct regular reviews and updates of training curricula to integrate advancements in security technology, systems, and protocols.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. 2–4 years of experience in a security or operational training capacity, ideally within a GSOC or comparable security-focused environment.

    2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with foundational knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and digital training platforms.

    3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

    4. Proven ability to deliver training content to diverse audiences, from entry-level personnel to seasoned professionals.

    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training requirements and drive continuous improvement.

    6. Demonstrated capability to evaluate operational performance and propose targeted, data-informed training solutions.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Experience supporting GSOC programs and familiarity with security technologies and platforms used in a GSOC environment, such as Lenel, Milestone, Dataminr and mass communication software.

    2. In-depth knowledge of GSOC operations, global threat monitoring, incident response procedures, and physical security technologies.

    3. Proficiency in instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE or SAM, and familiarity with adult learning principles.

    4. Experience delivering training in hybrid or global environments, including remote instruction and virtual facilitation.

    MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

    1. Must have the legal right to work in the USA.

    2. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

    3. Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    1. Hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week.

    2. Supports a 24/7 operational environment, with flexible hours as needed to accommodate training and business demands.
