    Infrastructure Technician L3

     

    Hillsboro, Oregon

     

    Mon – Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm

     

    Pay starts at $26/hr + (DOE)

     

    Full Benefits + Paid Time Off

     

    The Infrastructure Technician will be responsible for setting up lab spaces to accept platforms and install them, running networking, installing/programming Power Distribution Units (PDU) and KVMs, installing the platforms and configuring for connectivity. Some space and power planning as well.

     

    + Install, set up and configure hardware (servers, computers, network devices, subnets, assigning IPs etc.) and required software.

    + Install and terminate network cabling.

    + Unbox and configure Server and Client systems (rack and rerack) across multiple lab environments. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

    + Linux and Windows OS' including installation, navigation, and troubleshooting.

    + Set up switches, KVM's and PDUs.

    + Assist with tracking and inventory of all SDP Cloud systems using database – Service Now, One Cloud and Excel.

    + Deploy/Troubleshoot Internal NUCS for client’s systems.

    + Use power hand tools for installations (i.e., installing PDUs, KVMs, shelving, and equipment racks)

    + Manage and execute infrastructure tickets (customer and Intel teams), based on priority.

    + Troubleshoot PDU & KVM-related tickets.

    + Coordinate emergency replacements for failed infrastructure and support equipment.

    + Perform admin updates for users in VNC (remote access support).

    + Will interact with internal stakeholders addressing submitted tickets (SDP Support Center) in a timely manner.
