Job Overview
The University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank Campus is looking for a savvy Registered Nurse to join our team of talented healthcare providers, who will work in Pediatric homecare, with our Peritoneal Dialysis Department.
This position works casually, on the day and evening shifts, at 10 hour shifts. This position will be regularly scheduled for on-call shifts.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s).
+ The RN will perform these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
+ The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
+ The RN will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.
Required Qualifications:
+ MN RN License
+ BLS required
+ AD required
+ At least 1 year of Peritoneal dialysis experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ BSN or higher preferred
+ Pediatric experience
+ Previous Dialysis experience
+ Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certifed Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification
