Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in surgery

+ Outpatient clinic and rounding responsibilities

+ Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures

+ Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions

+ Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources

+ Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted required.

+ Physician Assistant credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire

+ Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.

+ Orthopedic Physician Assistant. Verified by local Credentialing Office preferred.

Education:

+ Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

+ 1 year of experience preferred.
