Responsibilities

Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Family Medicine provider for our Wisconsin Ave. location

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.

OPPORTUNITY

+ Join a well-established practice consisting of:

+ 1 Family Medicine Physicians

+ 2 Family Medicine Advance Practitioners

+ Ancillary Staff Support

+ Family Medicine based clinic that specializes in caring for the underserved population

+ Highly-integrated healthcare system modeled with “True Physician Leadership”

+ Full Range of Family Medicine, including newborns

+ Practice Opportunity will be 100% outpatient, but option to be Traditionalist

+ option for OB if desired

+ Provider **36** patient contact hours per week

+ Expanded access hours allows for flexibility in scheduling

+ Call is shared amongst Family Medicine Providers

+ Approximately once every 10-14 days

+ Phone call only (no inpatient responsibilities), facilitated by Nurse Triage

+ Epic EHR

+ Strong 24/7 Hospitalist Team

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

+ Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

+ Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
