    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The Quality Intern will work across multiple departments including quality operations and strategy, clinical service lines, regulatory, and patient safety. The position requires: a collaborative, team-based approach ready to jump in and learn multiple new areas. The ability to ask thoughtful questions and provide insights, using data. A self-starter mentality and ability to effectively manage their time to meet deliverable dates. The ability to learn quickly and iteratively apply learnings to all projects. Flexibility to move between multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of service.

    Major Responsibilities:

    Strategy

    •Structure and prepare materials for review, brainstorming, design, and development sessions including agendas, facilitation plans, and meeting notes

    •Gather and document business and process requirements through meetings, workshops, site visits, job shadowing, etc. with the intention of identifying opportunities for improvement

    •Support Quality team projects through analysis and data-driven insights

    •Integrate data with other operational tools and products to provide more robust decision making resources

    •Develop systems and processes to assist with quality control and implement in partnership with project lead

    •Conduct and support implementations as needed (including change management, training, etc)

    •Organize Quality team multi day summits

    •Build connectivity across the Quality department through participation to establish newsletters, team building, SharePoint sites, etc

    •Structure and prepare materials for review, brainstorming, design, and development sessions including agendas, facilitation plans, and meeting notes

    Performance accountability

    •Provide support and direction with regards to obtaining favorable Patient Experience results

    •Responsible for determining and reporting and experience metrics and measures to support operations of the organization

    •Leads collaborative safety and care experience initiatives across the enterprise including event mitigation strategies and partnering with division leadership to produce positive, measurable results in processes and leading and lagging metrics.

    Education & Experience:

    •Bachelor's degree required
