**Salary Range** : $127,800 - $191,800 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.
CNO Financial Group’s **IT Department** is hiring a **Lead IT Identity Security Architect** to impact the development of CNO’s security architecture standards and approach to adopting new technology secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; performing security assessments both internal and third party; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures; consulting with IT team members.
This is your opportunity to enhance and maintain access governance segregation of duties (SoD) process, including working with business, audit, and application teams to develop and maintain adequate segregation of duties access controls.
As a** **Lead IT Identity Security Architect,** **your responsibilities will include:
+ Creating security architecture standards for the adoption of new technology.
+ Identifying, quantifying, and providing design requirements for security risks as they relate to IT and enterprise projects.
+ Partnering with business representatives and IT leaders to define information security strategy and direction.
+ Developing formal management reporting dashboards aligned to widely accepted standards, including appropriate metrics that inform senior leadership as to the state of information security risk and exposure.
+ Recognizing and identifying potential areas where existing security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
+ Providing information security subject matter expertise to technology teams and projects.
+ Evaluating and recommending security software/hardware and its integration into existing architecture.
+ Performing third party security risk assessment, especially cloud service providers.
+ Facilitating third party requests for information on CNO’s information security program and policies.
+ Ensuring that the organization is leveraging the proper technologies to meet SOX, PCI, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements.
The** **Lead IT Identity Security Architect position** **is well suited for you if you:
+ Possess depth knowledge of information security practices related to PCI, SOX, HIPAA/HITECH, and OWASP application security.
+ Have a solid understanding of information security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, etc.).
+ Are experienced with implementing security at the application, network and operating system levels.
+ Experience with mainstream IT Technologies, such as products from Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft.
+ Demonstrated understanding of segregation of duties (SoD) and role-based access control (RBAC) concepts.
+ Collaborate well with Business Units and other IT staff.
+ Interact well with business partners and security and compliance staff.
+ Present well to senior leadership, potentially C Level.
+ Can translate technical “speak” into understandable business language.
+ Hold outstanding understanding security product / service cost drivers and industry and business trends impacting the information security program.
What you’ll need:
+ Bachelor's degree, in IT or related field.
+ Three years’ experience as a security architect or related role.
+ Ten years of progressive IT experience.
What will set you apart:
+ CISSP certification a plus, or other relevant security certifications.
+ Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
